Well forged and carved fine iron plate with a beautiful high raised motif carving design of bamboo. The workmanship is stunning. The tsuba has both hitsu-ana plugged in black shakudo.

The motif is mixed with a deep and lustrous dark chocolate brown patina. The tsuba is in an outstanding condition.
