Features:

A gorgeous striking blade by Kanefusa, a high ranked Mino swordsmith of the Keicho Shinto era. The blade features a robust sugata with a hira-zukuri shape. The nakago is ubu and is signed Kanefusa on the omote. The jigane is a well forged itame hada that mixes at times with ko-mokume, with some tobiyaki, muneyaki and beautiful activity within. The flamboyant hamon is very well executed and active, featuring a Choji type uma-no-ha horse tooth style. The blade is in full “minty” polish, very healthy condition, with no kizu or flaws present.

The blade rests in a shirasaya and features an attractive double silver habaki. It is accompanied by a beautiful, very attractive old Edo Koshirae in solid & very sound condition.
